[Clinic A] three-part facial contouring, week 2 review

Week 1 review Days 1–13 I walked diligently. Regarding swelling, there was no dramatic improvement from one day to the next, but it gradually decreased slightly over time.

Day 14 Visited the clinic for a follow-up, removal of intraoral stitches, and swelling care. The intraoral stitch removal was less painful than expected because they had me gargle with a lidocaine rinse called Happycaine. (I am a huge wimp, so you can trust me.) I mistakenly thought removing the intraoral stitches would completely eliminate the tightness inside my mouth. The tightness is still there. But I was grateful that I could start brushing my teeth today! (Children's toothbrush, 1,000 won)

✅ Meals after surgery Until day 3 after surgery, I had no appetite at all, so I only had soy milk to take the prescribed antibiotics. Once my appetite returned, it became difficult. I mainly ate cake-type foods, but got tired of them, so I ordered products from Geriatric Internal Medicine sold in the food hall at Hyundai Department Store. Anything that can be eaten using the gums or tongue tastes good!

✅ Swelling and bruising in week 2 after contouring surgery I saw my parents two weeks later, and they asked whether I had candy in my mouth. (They know nothing about cosmetic surgery and do not even know the term “candy swelling,” but the fact that they said this shows that the swelling really looks like I have candy in my mouth.) This varies by person, but bruising that appeared from day 4 had faded considerably by week 2! Unless someone looks closely, the bruising is not noticeable at all.

✅ Surgical result(?) A friend said I seem prettier(?) Because of the swelling, every time I look in the mirror I am like ..., but my friend said that even accounting for the swelling, my face definitely seems slimmer.
