Eye Surgery Reviews

I corrected severe asymmetric eyes and ptosis with revision surgery

My right eye had very severe ptosis. As a result, my eyes were asymmetric, with no symmetry at all. It was not merely asymmetry that looked cosmetically unappealing; it was severe enough to interfere with daily life.

I had surgery once before, but there was no improvement at all. I also went for plastic-surgery consultations, but because there were not many places that approached cases like mine from a treatment or corrective perspective, I had a really difficult time even with consultations.

I met Dr. Kim Jeong-hyu at [Clinic A], where I eventually had surgery, after asking around extensively and visiting many places. Despite having consulted at quite a few clinics, this was the best of all the places I had visited. To compare it, it felt like going to dermatology clinics for a skin problem but finding only aesthetic salons, then finally finding a real dermatology clinic.

Even during surgery, I honestly did not expect both sides to become perfectly symmetrical. But the surgery achieved symmetry beyond what I expected. My right eye had been uncomfortable enough to interfere greatly with daily life, but now even when blinking, there is no gritty or stiff feeling at all—it is so comfortable.

I am so happy that it was corrected so perfectly. Thank you. This was something that caused me tremendous stress throughout my life, so I am incredibly happy it has been resolved.
