They say sausage eyelids become natural over time as the double-eyelid crease settles lower, but perhaps because my crease itself was so high, there was no sign of it coming down... I struggled with sausage eyelids for 10 years and debated whether to do it. After visiting many consultations, I had it done by Dr. Lee Seok-hyeon at Eye Contact Plastic Surgery. My eye asymmetry was corrected, my eyes look bigger than before, and I like that so much T_T. People with sausage eyelids hesitate to have surgery again because of swelling, but I am exactly 3 months post-op now. It looks more natural than before, there is less scarring, and there is almost no swelling... I keep thinking I should have done it sooner.
