Nose Surgery Reviews

Five-Month Review of Alar Lift by Dr. Han Jun at [Clinic A]

It has now been about five months since my alar lift, so I am leaving a review! My alae were naturally somewhat droopy, so my nose looked a little stuffy from the front, which concerned me. Rather than making my alae unconditionally smaller, I wanted to refine the descended alar line, so after looking into it, I had an alar lift. It has been about five months now, and personally I am quite satisfied. As the alae have lifted slightly, my nose looks much more open and neat than before, and the stuffy impression from the front has greatly diminished. It does not look overly upturned or artificial; the line simply feels naturally refined, which I like. My biggest concern before surgery was scarring, but now it is barely noticeable unless someone deliberately looks for it up close. Early on, because it was an incision site, I took care of it conscientiously. If you simply follow the care instructions well, it was not as concerning as I expected. I had almost no pain. I do not remember being in pain and struggling even immediately after surgery, and I had no major discomfort during recovery. Of course, everyone's recovery process differs, but mine was easier than I expected. The clinic's overall system was also good. From consultation to surgery and follow-up, everything felt systematic, and necessary details were explained well, so there was no major inconvenience. The cost also felt reasonable compared with the other places I checked, and considering the result, I am satisfied. In particular, if you are concerned not because your alae are wide, but because they descend and make your nose look stuffy like mine, it may be worthwhile to get a consultation. At five months, the line has settled naturally and the scar is barely visible, so I am satisfied :)
