I had septal extension with autologous costal cartilage, and it is so uncomfortable that I am planning to have it removed. The majority opinion is that it is better to leave the support in place T_T. I am planning to leave the support, but has anyone here used autologous costal cartilage for a columellar support? I would have to newly harvest ear cartilage T_T. I am deliberating between autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage. They say autologous costal cartilage is placed between the columella, but I worry it might be too hard T_T.
