Because my mouth corners drooped, I was told that I looked unhappy when expressionless, and it was incredibly stressful. I found out there was a mouth-corner surgery, visited several places, and liked Dr. Lee Hyun-jik at Avant the most during consultation, so I had surgery there haha During the consultation, they explained in detail that while the drooping mouth corners were a factor, the shadows beside my mouth made me look even more downcast! Rather than simply saying I absolutely needed surgery or that something should be reduced, they considered how it affected my facial impression, which made them feel much more trustworthy. My philtrum was also somewhat long originally, so I had mouth-corner surgery, marionette-line correction, and lateral philtrum shortening. If I had only done the mouth corners, it might have looked artificial, but having the procedures together makes my smile look much more natural too. And the scars I worried about most are not noticeable unless examined closely, so I have been living without thinking about them much haha
