I am so distressed because it feels like not a single thing turned out properly. I think it has been two months and two weeks now. I had incisional ptosis correction, but my eyes are uneven, and it is especially obvious when I open them wide. As for my nose, it is not that it is unnoticeable in a good way; everyone around me asks why I had surgery if it was going to be like this. There is clearly a difference in before-and-after photos, but unless they put them side by side for direct comparison, people around me say something seems to have changed, but that they would not pay money for this degree of change. I had a 4 mm implant, and according to the doctor, that is a lot, but I do not understand how 4 mm could ever be considered a lot for someone whose nasal bridge was very low to begin with. I clearly said from the start that I was not pursuing a natural result and that I wanted it raised noticeably, even if it looked obvious.
I was told I would have an in-depth consultation before surgery, but in reality, the in-depth consultation was about 5–10 minutes of talking while I was in a patient gown on the day of surgery and they were drawing markers on my face. What is even more ridiculous is that when I mentioned correcting my bulbous nose, they said that would be difficult. Lol. If I had known that first, I would not have had surgery here at all.
And when I ask about the asymmetry, whether it is the eyes, nose, or anything else, they say it may be because I had pre-existing asymmetry. But then, is not surgery supposed to correct the asymmetries to some degree as well? I paid all that money and got uneven eyes, a crooked columella, and a nose that sits on its own... Also, I had prominent brow bones and an extremely low radix and nasal bridge. I clearly expressed from the first consultation that I wanted a masculine straight nose, and said the same on the day of surgery, yet they made a sloped, feminine nose. But they call it a straight nose. From a distance, it would be a lie to say the silicone implant at the radix and bridge did not raise it at all, but it still looks almost flat, so only the nose appears to float. I also wrote on the surgical consent form that I wanted a dramatic style, not a natural one...
When I called to ask about very early revision, they just repeated like parrots that I had to wait one month. What I got for my money was uneven eyes, a crooked columella, and everyone unanimously saying that not much has changed. People who truly pursue an ultra-natural look and even want asymmetry because it looks natural might be really happy here, but I got the complete opposite of what I asked for, so I am utterly dumbfounded.
