Before surgery, the inner corners of my eyes felt constricted, and the distance between my eyes looked somewhat wide. The area under my eyes was also so hollow that makeup could not conceal it well. As I entered my thirties, it seemed to look even more hollow, and it felt like my eyes showed every sign of aging. Anyway, it was extremely frustrating. I realized that no amount of dermatology treatments and makeup would change this; I would have to have plastic surgery for it to change. After surgery, I kept thinking, why did I not do this sooner? What I especially liked was that after surgery, the inner corners did not become too round and instead became slightly pointed. So I feel like my eye shape has become somewhat similar to that of idols. It seems that doing upper epicanthoplasty together made the shape much prettier. At [Clinic A], they called this a round-pointed shape, and I totally agree; it is the best. Also, I found the effect of lower eyelid fat repositioning better than expected. Before surgery in March, the area under my eyes was always dark, and concealer was useless. Now, even without doing anything, the lower area looks clean and does not make me look fox-eyed, so my eyes look appropriate for my age. That made me think a lot that I should have had the surgery in my twenties. I was going to visit clinics near my home for consultations, but my friend gave me a wake-up call, so I researched it properly. Then I saw reviews of this place on Instagram, and it seemed they made the shape well so that, although there was no scarring, the eyes would not look unnaturally prominent on their own. So I searched online and saw that there were an enormous number of reviews everywhere: the website, café, and blogs. I went for a consultation. In the consultation room, they said that the best method would be to open the blocked inner eye corners with epicanthoplasty and refine the eye shape upward with upper epicanthoplasty. They also said that the hollowness under my eyes required lower eyelid fat repositioning. For the canthoplasty, they said they would tailor it to my eye structure so that the lacrimal caruncle would not be overly visible. For lower eyelid fat repositioning, they said they would fill the hollow areas and, if there were protruding areas, smooth those out so it would not look uneven. Honestly, because this was not revision surgery, I thought they would not spend long on my consultation. But when I came out after asking questions, 30 minutes had passed, so I thought the director here was very dedicated. Seeing that made me feel I could entrust the surgery to them.
