I had 3D cheekbone reduction, hollow-cheek correction, and liposuction of the cheeks, jawline, and double chin. It has now been five months, haha. Next month will be six months, and I was told I will have a follow-up CT at six months. Since I had contouring surgery and facial liposuction together, I felt the swelling lasted quite a while, but compared with the first or second month, my face has truly become much slimmer, lol. Comparing my face shape before surgery, you can see it has become more refined and much slimmer. I think I look a little younger too. My facial width has decreased, the broad look is gone, and the asymmetry improved.
At first, as the swelling went down, the two sides reduced unevenly, which worried me. But my cheekbones had originally been uneven in size, and because they were adjusted accordingly, the swelling did not go down evenly. Now, as shown in the photos, the symmetry is good. Facial bruising and swelling were not severe, but I had quite severe yellow bruising on my neck. I think that was because of the liposuction; the swelling and bruising moved downward. Until about week two, my mouth protruded like a duck bill, so I looked a bit odd, but I still commuted to work normally, haha. Now I can open my mouth well and live normally without any problems.
