I have not been able to get rid of my double chin for more than a decade, so after putting it off and off, I finally had a consultation. I made an appointment simply out of curiosity because I heard this was the original clinic for double-chin surgery. As it is a well-known clinic, there were quite a lot of people waiting. It definitely seemed to be a clinic famous for double-chin procedures. Rather than judging only by looking, they used ultrasound to precisely check the thickness of the fat layer and even the condition of the muscles. Because I have a very receding chin with a straight downward profile, I expected even before going that muscle suturing would be needed. But after examining my condition, the doctor recommended combining muscle suturing with salivary-gland treatment. At first I was a little taken aback, but the doctor clearly explained why doing them together would produce better results, so it made sense. I was secretly worried that scars or incision sites would remain if I had surgery later, so I asked separately. The doctor really cares about scars and reassured me that the procedure would be performed meticulously to make them as inconspicuous as possible. I like it the most so far, but I am still deliberating...
