I had been deliberating over rhinoplasty for quite a long time, and finally made the big decision to have surgery this time. Before surgery, I was more worried than I expected, including whether I could communicate the look I wanted well. During the consultation, they listened closely to the details I wanted, so I trusted them and proceeded at [Clinic A]. The materials used were autologous costal cartilage, silicone, and septal cartilage. I also had surgery for a deviated septum and inferior turbinate reduction. At first after surgery, I was a little worried because of the swelling and bruising, but as time passed and the swelling went down, I could see that my nasal line was gradually settling into a natural shape, which made me satisfied. In particular, I liked that it suited my face naturally rather than looking overly obvious. I used to be conscious of my nose when taking photos, but now I think I have definitely become more confident than before. The nasal line looks good not only from the front, but also in profile and slightly angled photos, so these days I worry less when taking pictures. The swelling has not completely gone down yet, so I am looking forward to it becoming even more natural over time. [Doctor A] took care of everything from the preoperative consultation through postoperative care, and I was satisfied. If you are deliberating over rhinoplasty, I think it would be good to receive a thorough consultation before deciding. So far, I am satisfied because it seems to have turned out in the direction I wanted overall. I am also looking forward to how it will look once more time passes and the swelling subsides.
