I had it done in Seomyeon, Busan. I had severe astigmatism and myopia, and among them the astigmatism that is difficult to correct was especially severe. It was so severe that I was told I might still need to wear glasses even after implantable contact lens surgery. The price was around 8 million KRW, which was the usual price for implantable contact lens surgery. Until the surgery, I was very scared of the procedure and worried that my vision might not be fully corrected, but the surgery went well and I have been doing very well for more than two years. I still have some glare around lights at night, but it is not uncomfortable at all. It was a difficult case, and perhaps because the surgery went well, the doctor was very pleased and said several times that it had gone well. I had considered going to a larger major hospital, but I learned about this place through an acquaintance and have no regrets at all. I liked that it did not feel like a high-volume factory-style clinic.
