I had never liked my existing double-eyelid line, so after deliberating about revision surgery for a long time, I finally had it done! The line was somewhat ambiguous, so I wanted to raise it a little more and make it more dramatic, haha.
So I searched extensively for reviews focused on semi-out or out lines and visited several places for consultations. [Clinic A] had the line most similar to what I wanted, so I chose it, haha. During the consultation, they also assessed what height would suit my eyes. Instead of insisting on a high line, they explained it according to my eyes, which I liked.
Before the consultation, I wondered whether I should also get ptosis correction or canthoplasty, but once I consulted, I did not feel either was particularly necessary. So I did not add a lot of procedures and only had secondary eyelid surgery with natural adhesion!
At first after surgery, there was more swelling and bruising than I expected, but I kept up with cold and warm compresses and took lots of walks, so it subsided faster than expected. It was also fun to watch the line gradually settle as the swelling went down, lol.
Now the line is definitely higher than before and my eyes look clearer, so I am satisfied! In particular, when I wore makeup before, my eyes felt somewhat plain, but now eye makeup seems to suit me much better, which I love, haha.
Also, during the consultation, the doctor said I did not need to do anything unnecessary, which made the decision easier. What I originally wanted was a change in my double-eyelid line, and I think I was able to focus exactly on that! Haha.
It has not fully settled yet, so I need to watch it a little longer, but so far I like the line and think it was a good decision to have revision surgery, haha.
