Eye Surgery Reviews

Three-month review of [Clinic A] [3-way posterior canthoplasty + incisional double-eyelid surgery with ptosis correction]

I had surgery with Dr. Oh Hyun-bae. I had strong recommendations from acquaintances, so I came directly to [Clinic A] without visiting other places. I was constantly told that I looked tired and as though I had an unfriendly expression. In fact, before surgery I had uneven eyes, sunken eyes, and a lot of eyelid fat. Having lived 30 years with those unfavorable conditions, I wanted to spend my remaining 70-plus years with dramatically changed eyes. I felt certain during the consultation. The coordinator said, “The doctor is not someone who operates excessively,” which reassured me. The doctor said, “A requirement for a handsome man is that the eyes and eyebrows are not far apart.” It was good to realize, “My eyes and eyebrows were far apart, so my impression looked indistinct.” My desired direction—expanding the horizontal eye length and strengthening eyelid-opening power—aligned with the doctor’s, so I thought the surgery would go well. To sum up, mine was almost like corrective surgery. I could gain both functional improvement and aesthetic enhancement. I am satisfied because blinking has become so comfortable that I wonder why I used to open my eyes so heavily when I can open them this lightly and easily. Aesthetically, my expression has become alert and much more open, so I am living with a sense of accomplishment. I recommend it to people whose outer eye corners droop and are covered, like mine.
