Thank You / Lee Ho-jun — He explained the principles well and seemed like an upright, well-studied man. He said surgery is possible even if some filler scar tissue remains because the operation is performed subperiosteally with internal fixation. He said I should not get fat grafting and that under-eye fat repositioning alone would be enough! For fat grafting, he said it is only for people with hollow upper-cheek fat beside the nose; I am not that hollow. He pressed below the aegyo-sal with a cotton swab and said the area beneath it is normally supposed to be hollow. Under-eye fat repositioning is when tissue there moves downward to fill the empty space above the under-eye groove. He said they reinforce the septum and fix it to the periosteum, making loose under-eye tissue firmer. However, he said it would not eliminate the different texture of the thin under-eye skin and the tear-trough area. The event price was 2.18 million won (I have to post a review with my eyes mosaicked...). DuoDERM for one week / aftercare is available if a surgical issue occurs; he specializes in under-eye fat procedures. Three surgeries per day. I really liked that he did not recommend fat grafting, but I have little under-eye fat, so I am still deliberating because I worry it might become more hollow for no reason T_T.
