At first, I thought I only needed filler in the sunken nasolabial-fold area, but after consulting, they said volume and the overall balance of the face needed to be considered together. I found it interesting that filling only the nasolabial folds excessively could actually make the face look heavy. I said I did not want an obviously overfilled look and wanted only a natural reduction of the nasolabial-fold shadows. During the consultation, they explained which areas the filler would go into.
