It has been a few years since surgery. My nasal tip was crooked from the time the tape was removed. (They do not pack the nose with cotton here; they provide small corrective silicone pieces placed into nostrils with holes.) My columella is completely pulled to one side. It was crooked from early on, but it was less visible from the front due to swelling, so I thought only the columella was crooked and asked whether it would improve after the swelling went down. An absurd answer even now: “Keep pressing your nose toward the opposite side. It will get better.”
