My eyes normally looked short horizontally, so I was concerned that they looked cramped in photos. Since I already had double eyelids, I thought lower lateral canthoplasty would be better than other procedures, so I had a consultation. I showed Dr. Choi Seung-ho the eye shape I wanted, and I was told about the possible range and degree of change. I did not want excessive widening, so I asked for a natural result. I also liked that the doctor was not the type to recommend all sorts of things. For a few days after surgery, there was swelling and slight discomfort, but I adapted much sooner than expected. Once the swelling went down, the outer and lower parts of my eyes looked naturally refined, so I think I did well to have the surgery. Rather than my eyes becoming dramatically larger, the cramped look disappeared exactly as I had hoped, making my overall eye area feel more open. I like that even more. When taking photos, my eye shape looks more refreshed than before, so taking selfies has become easier lately.
