After graduating from high school, I had incisional double eyelid surgery. I had symptoms of ptosis, but it could not be legally proven, so I had ptosis correction, where the muscle is pulled up.
I wanted my eyes to look bigger, so I had both medial and lateral canthoplasty. For 2-3 years after surgery, there was still a subtle amount of swelling, so people kept saying my eyes looked too intense or like a woman's eyes, which was extremely stressful. But from my mid-20s onward, I have often heard that my eyes are very attractive. I feel that swelling management is very important, and for men, I think it is important to go somewhere that can shape the double eyelid line well.
