I’m borrowing a friend’s ID, so please don’t confuse this with previous posts.
15 years ago, when I was 20, I had my nose done with Gore-Tex, and the nasal tip was done with septal cartilage. At the time, I was young, and I thought that if I got nose surgery, I would definitely become prettier, so I scheduled the surgery right away at the first place where I had a consultation. Gore-Tex was briefly popular back then too, and I was told it was a new material that doesn’t cause inflammation, so I went with it. Up to now, I haven’t had inflammation or any other problems, but.. The nasal bridge is tilted. It’s not that my nose itself is crooked; the bridge should start from the exact center between the eyebrows, but it is shifted to the right. In person, it’s not very noticeable, and even when I use an app that flips left and right, it’s not very noticeable, but when I take photos with the default camera, it shows a lot. I was shocked after seeing the photos from my younger sibling’s wedding day, and it has been stressful since then..
I see a lot of cases where the nose is crooked, but I haven’t seen many cases like mine where the nasal bridge is tilted and starts from the right side. Can this be corrected with surgery??
Also, I feel like I’ve heard that Gore-Tex removal is difficult, so I’m wondering whether surgery is the right choice. And since I’m doing it this time, I want to raise the nasal tip slightly and lower the columella slightly, but when I look at reviews, autologous costal cartilage results look really pretty... I’m tempted to use autologous costal cartilage.. And if I do it this time, I want to think of it as my last nose surgery in life and use something sturdy.
In conclusion, if anyone here, or anyone’s friends, has had surgery for a case like mine, please recommend a hospital... Also, if I use autologous costal cartilage, how long does it take until I can do weight training??
