Septum, Lengthening the Columella

Before/after before/after before/after I had always had trouble breathing through my left nostril, so some time ago I had nasal surgery together with septal surgery and columella-lengthening cosmetic surgery. But even after that, I still couldn't breathe well, and the columella didn't really seem to have changed either.  I lived thinking this was just the best it could get, but after a few years, it felt like the implant was moving more than before near the glabella, and breathing through my left nostril started getting even harder. So I went to the hospital and had a CT scan, and I was told that the implant had no problem, but my septum was bent too much. Still, I was really scared of surgery, so I tried not to have another surgery if at all possible, but at this rate I felt like I would have to get my nose operated on again someday anyway. Since I was going to do it, I thought I should do it somewhere I wouldn't have to do it again, so I looked into several hospitals and went around for consultations, and the last place I found was this clinic. At first, I didn't completely trust the before-and-after photos posted on the clinic's blog. That's because at other hospitals, I had only been told that if I wanted septal surgery and revision rhinoplasty together, it absolutely had to be done with an open incision, and that the columella could not be lengthened any further. But I didn't want a scar from an incision, and since I was doing it again anyway, I also wanted to change my nose shape to something I liked more. But during the consultation at this clinic, the director said it could be done with a closed approach and that the columella could also be projected more, so I decided to have the surgery. It's been about 17 days now, and I can breathe well and I'm satisfied with the shape of my nose.
