After<After surgery, my jawline definitely changed!>After<Swelling on the day of surgery was really.. hahaha>AfterAfterAfter<Bruising around my chin.. it was well covered when I wore a turtleneck. >After<Because of the swelling, somehow my skin looks better? >After<After surgery, the folds of fat under my chin are gone! >Before<Before liposuction of the anterior cheekbones, lower cheeks, and double chin>Before<Before surgery>Before<Before surgery >The facial fat I thought was baby fat when I was younger.. Every time I smiled, I looked so much like Anpanman, and even if I gained just a little weight, people around me kept asking if I had gotten something injected in my face.. it was so stressful.. On top of that, as the fat sagged, my cheeks drooped and bulged like jowls, and even when I lost weight, the facial fat didn’t really come off. I was looking into lifting procedures, but because I had a lot of facial fat itself, liposuction was recommended to me. At first I thought facial liposuction was only for the double chin, but a lot of people do the cheekbone and cheek areas too, right? Since I had a lot of facial fat too, I ended up doing the full set: anterior cheekbones, lower cheeks, above the nasolabial folds.. and even the double chin.. They said they removed a total of 52.3 cc hahaha
It didn’t hurt at all, but on the day after surgery, I was so swollen that I could barely open my eyes, so I regretted doing it for no reason.. The next day, I bundled up tightly, went for walks, drank lots of water, and went to the bathroom often, so thankfully the big, puffy swelling went down quickly.
Aside from the first day after surgery, my swelling wasn’t severe, but bruising around my eyes started creeping in and became more noticeable than I expected. I also had bruising around my chin.. I was most worried about the bruises near the outer corners of my eyes and under my eyes, but thankfully they were somewhat covered with makeup and a mask, so I kept wearing a mask at work.. After applying bruise ointment and getting radiofrequency aftercare, the bruises are almost all gone now.
It’s been a little over a week now, and maybe my swelling is going down quickly, because people around me are already asking if I lost weight hehe Now that some swelling has gone down, I can feel hardness? scar tissue, so I’m massaging it diligently. My cheeks still feel a bit tingly and achy, so I hope they get better soon.. They say it takes about 3 months for the scar tissue to soften and for the results to show more clearly, so I think I need to manage my diet well and not gain weight during that time~ I’m going for aftercare again this week, so the swelling will go down more, right? ☺️
