1-Month Review After Arm Liposuction!

Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> After-after After the surgery, I kept waiting for the swelling to go down quickly, quickly, wondering why time was passing so slowly~~ and finally, one month has passed haha. I did write a short review a few days after surgery, but to celebrate one month, I brought photos too, with a happy heart!

First, the first pre-surgery photo! (4-cut photo) Since last year, I especially felt that the fat on my upper arms had completely lost elasticity, and when I saw the photo taken in the sky-blue dress, I realized it was very serious ㅜㅜ I decided I had to do something... (This was when I was 163 cm tall and weighed 53-54 kg.) So after getting fat-dissolving injections and a lifting procedure maybe twice, that is the photo in the light purple dress! It felt like the sagging had lifted a bit, but still, my sturdy upper arms... After that, I caught COVID and lost 4 kg, bringing my weight down to 50 kg, but why were my upper arms still the same?? All the bottoms I used to wear became so loose I could barely stand it, but look how tight the short sleeves were... even until the day before surgery, I still had so much upper-arm fat... (last striped dress photo)

I am very fearful, so I never even dreamed of surgery, but I went with a friend to a clinic and thought, should I at least get a consultation? With that light mindset, I went to Kirin near Gangnam Station. But they did not push surgery excessively, and they gave me a realistic consultation saying that if I were to have surgery, only the upper arms would be enough, but because my issue was elasticity rather than fat, straight arms or the trendy skinny bony-arm line would be difficult. That made me trust them more, and as if possessed, I decided to have surgery~

For the surgery, I only had my upper arms done, a bit on the back and front of the arms, and the result was!! I am extremely satisfied!! Honestly, on the day of surgery, right after I woke up from anesthesia, just before putting on the compression garment, I saw my arm with the flesh sharply cut away, but from the next day, I could not see it because of swelling lol. It did not swell a lot, but it was not like there was no swelling either.. Even when swollen, my arms were thinner than before surgery! It seems some people have severe pain, but for me, it was so fine that I could even do the arms-up pose without difficulty. Of course, the bruising was just a yellowish bruise at most?

But I guess you cannot avoid fibrotic hardening...ㅜㅠ From after getting the stitches removed at one week, it suddenly felt like my muscles had stiffened... Still, I deliberately stretched thoroughly and bought a home-use radiofrequency massager and used it every day, so the big areas of fibrotic hardening seemed to disappear quickly?!?! But should I say deeper fibrotic hardening formed? That was uncomfortable, and since I am impatient.. I went to get manual massage once a week to recover faster. I went in week 3, and the massage director said that if I could receive a manual massage while talking like this, I was in very good condition haha. She said when there is little fat, they have to extract aggressively, so fibrotic hardening and adhesions can be severe and recovery can be slower, but it seemed like I had the surgery done well.

After surgery, the director checked my progress once at week 2 and once at one month. He examined everything carefully, answered my questions well, and even noticed things I had not thought were a big deal and explained why they were happening~ (things like unevenness from fibrotic hardening or scar marks?) Since the progress was good and recovery was going smoothly, we decided I would see him next after quite some time had passed lol.

So, the one-month result after surgery! I am very satisfied lol. Recovery was faster than expected and I like the line too!! (This is probably largely thanks to the director, who performed the surgery appropriately according to my body without overdoing it, right?? lol) If I had known it would be like this, I wonder if I should have done it when I was in my 20s with better elasticity, or even in my early 30s... but... they say the line will get even smoother and thinner over time, so I decided to be satisfied and this summer I am going to finally relieve my long-held wish to wear sleeveless tops I could not wear before lol.
