I'm writing this because there aren't many reviews. The asymmetry on one side of my nose was severe, and the scar on my philtrum was also severe. Rather than a private plastic surgery clinic, I thought it would be more effective to have surgery with the doctor who had treated me since I was young, so I had it done at Asan Medical Center. During the consultation, they said they would use septal cartilage to slightly raise the nose in order to correct the nasal asymmetry, and that they would operate on the lip area. Since I had quite a bit of scarring on my philtrum, I asked if the philtrum area could be treated too, but they said the philtrum would be a little difficult, so I proceeded with surgery only on the nose and lips, excluding the philtrum.
The surgery was done about a month after the consultation. I was admitted the day before surgery and fasted, and I remember having the cotton packing removed the day after surgery. (After surgery, with the cotton packing inserted, I could barely drink water, couldn't taste food, and had trouble swallowing, so that was the most painful time.) Then I went to the hospital every 2-3 days for treatment. When the bandage was removed and I looked in the mirror, I don't know if it was because of the swelling, but my nostrils were so visible that I was stressed for about a month. Even now it's not very different, but they have come down slightly.
At this point, well over a year has passed, so the shape of my nose has mostly settled. The nasal shape is not severely asymmetric, but it is still asymmetric, and my lips are almost the same as before surgery, so I'm looking into other hospitals.
