About 10 years ago, I had my nose done outside Seoul, and I have issues with a somewhat dull-looking droopy nose + slight arrow-shaped nose + asymmetry with deviation, so today I went to consultations at two places famous for revision rhinoplasty.
MT: Director OHS => (Visited through a recommendation from a friend of a friend) He clearly told me, in a very objective way, what was possible and what was not. I thought my nostrils were uneven and that I had contracture/a bulbous nose, but he said it was not contracture, but rather a problem with the nasal bridge being deviated. He also explained that, contrary to what I expected, the size of my nasal alae was appropriate.
However, because it is an L-shaped nose and looks somewhat masculine, he said the shape needs to be corrected while raising the nasal tip. I do not remember the exact surgery name, but he said I would need improvement of asymmetric nostrils/nasal alae (if the skin is thin, the dermal layer of ear skin may be used) + shape-correction silicone + ear cartilage + septal cartilage. But he told me to call and ask whether septal cartilage was used in my surgery outside Seoul 10 years ago, in addition to ear cartilage. He said the surgical direction would change depending on whether septal cartilage had been used.
After surgery, the L-shaped nose asymmetry would improve to some extent, but not 100%, and he said that while moving the previously compressed material, the nasal alae may look more spread out.
I understood that functional aftercare, excluding cosmetic dissatisfaction, is covered for 3 years.

SH: Director Yoo Hyun-seok He accurately identified the causes of the design-related parts of my nose that I was dissatisfied with.
He explained that the reason I had mistakenly thought my nasal tip was bulbous, even though it was not, was because the shape of the nasal alae was not pretty. (He also said the size of the nasal alae was appropriate. Rather, he said it would look strange if they became smaller.)
He showed me photos of the trendy diamond-shaped nasal alae these days and said that if I want the natural-but-refined nose I want (like JWY/SY), it would be good to do internal alar reduction together. Like MT, he said the L-shaped nose should be improved by raising the nasal tip. (+ I think I heard that by raising the nasal tip and slightly lowering the columella, he would create a pretty rhombus-shaped nose.)
For materials, he mentioned mesh, ear cartilage, silicone, and septal cartilage. Also, I could not remember whether my previous surgery outside Seoul had been done with an open or closed approach, but after looking at my nose, he said it seemed to have been closed rhinoplasty. And the consultation manager was really, really kind.
Aftercare: checks at 1 week, 3-6 months, and 1 year, then after consultation with the director, the direction is decided. If removal becomes unavoidable within 1-3 years due to inflammation or contracture, whether a small fee would be charged or whether I would need to pay out of pocket is decided after consultation depending on the situation. (Functional purpose O, cosmetic purpose X)

Overall: MT emphasized improvement of asymmetry (correction of nasal bridge deviation and nostril asymmetry), while SH explained the direction as correcting asymmetry + improving a nose shape that is not trendy. Because I want improvement of the nasal alar shape, SH fits the direction of my nose consultation, but I got the impression that MT seemed more meticulous with aftercare.
I want a nose that looks natural but as refined and pretty as possible (Jang Won-young/Sullyoon), but both places said the directors basically pursue a natural style, so I would be grateful if anyone who has tried either could leave a comment about how it was! Hospital recommendations for a natural-refined style (even if it shows a little, a clearly pretty style is also OK) are very welcome! + Also, I like the style SH pursues and the photos, but I have heard a few things here about aftercare, so I am curious how it actually is. I am also interested in alar base reduction (internal), but I have seen so many scary posts saying absolutely not to do it, so I want to hear everyone’s opinions! (Also, I heard mesh is a material with a slight risk of inflammation, so I am curious what everyone thinks about that too.)
