It’s already been 14 years since I had double-eyelid surgery with a partial incision. With asymmetry and double eyelids that were gradually coming undone, my eyes looked sleepy... I found myself gradually lifting my forehead. I thought this wouldn’t do, so I worked hard researching online to narrow down clinics, and every day on my way home from work, I visited one clinic at a time for consultations!
Online research was much harder than in-person consultations.... Why are there so many brokers..
After consultations at 6 places, I paid the surgery reservation deposit today!! I mainly went to private clinics and clinics specializing in eye surgery, and the prices really varied hugely from clinic to clinic..
I was recommended incision + ptosis correction or double-line release + ptosis correction, and the costs ranged from 2.4 million to 4.5 million won....
And I avoided places that pressured me to book the same day or where the consultant first said they would lower the price if I wrote a review. I also avoided places that said that for AS, they would first wait for 1 year until things settled, then decide whether AS was possible. I was worried that if I needed revision surgery before overcorrection or adhesion developed, waiting 1 year might make me miss the golden time.
I considered various things, and chose a clinic that doesn’t schedule too many surgeries in one day and where the director continues to check my progress afterward!
