Posting a day-4 review of my revision surgery.. I was too lazy and wasn’t going to write one, but I saw comments asking me to keep writing reviews, so here it is.
As I wrote in my day-1 review, I was 170 cm tall with an A cup that had some upper-breast volume, and I had BellaGel H 350 cc inserted. After 2 years, I replaced both sides with Mentor Xtra Moderate 240 cc, and now it’s day 4.
First of all, after surgery, the pain wasn’t that bad, but because it was revision surgery, I had to wear drainage bulbs, so walking around with them for 3 days was the most uncomfortable part. It was also hard for me to take annual leave, and since I’d already spent real money on the surgery, taking leave felt like a waste too, so I wore the drains, covered them with oversized clothes, just went to work, and did all my work.
Anyway, when I went in around lunchtime the day after surgery to check the progress, after they removed the bandage, I almost cried lolololol. I thought, ah, what a relief, thank you God. I was really worried because people said that since my breasts were sagging, reducing the implants would make them sag more.. I was hoping so badly that the breast shape would look natural, and they became very, very natural breasts haha.
Exactly what I wanted: breasts that aren’t freaking excessive, just have volume... The nurse also said they just look like slightly sagging natural breasts, and even on day 1 after surgery, the feel was much better;; It was to the point that I wanted to kiss the doctor on the cheek.
Why didn’t I do this earlier?? I regretted it that much.
Anyway, after spending 3 days together with the drains, today I had the drainage bulbs removed and am lying down with only the compression garment and upper band on.
When I had 350 cc, if I lay down, I could feel the implant sitting thick and full on top of my chest.. I’m so happy that feeling is gone. It’s only 110 cc less, so why does it feel this much lighter haha.
My older sister also says it’s much better after doing it.... I really think I did the right thing ㅠ I worried so much, wondering if I was just making another scar for no reason and wasting money, but I really think it was so worth doing.
