I had it done at a clinic in Gangnam, Seoul. To begin with, my eyes were close-set and I had fairly severe epicanthal folds, but the epicanthal folds got worse as a side effect of double eyelid surgery, so I was really stressed. I looked for a clinic that would only remove the epicanthal folds without touching the distance between the inner corners of my eyes, and I got in-place canthoplasty. In the end, I’m satisfied. It’s been 7 months, and a little bit of the epicanthal fold is still left, but because it’s there, I actually think it looks naturally pretty. The hook shape!! is gone, so I’m really happy.
