If I list the places I’ve been going to since last year: Apgujeong ㅋㄹ, Gangnam ㅅㅅ, ㅈㅅㅌ, Sinsa ㅇㅎㅅ, ㄴㅅㅎ, and now I’m going to ㄱㅎㅅ!! My eye condition: I had only non-incisional buried sutures 10 years ago, and now my eyes are puffy + the skin is sagging, so they’re almost inner double eyelids... Only the line going outward is visible.
At ㅋㄹ, as everyone who’s been there probably knows, the director is extremely kind, so because of that particular way of speaking, I kept laughing and came out,, I couldn’t even ask this and that, and just went “yes.. yes..” and left. They didn’t recommend anything else, just buried sutures, and I think the price was 2 million? maybe..
ㅅㅅ The director really seemed insincere and just said buried sutures, epicanthoplasty, lateral and lower canthoplasty, basically all canthoplasties were possible ㅋㅋㅋ..ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Then the consultant told me to get a forehead lift ㅎㅎㅎㅎ so I just left without looking back. The price was in the mid-2 million range?
ㅈㅅㅌ Buried sutures + ptosis correction, and it was the most expensive (over 3 million). They set the line for me, but to my eyes it looked awkward + greasy, so the consultation didn’t really click either. Just.. I think they could sense I was lukewarm, so the consultation wasn’t long. And the consultation fee was 10,000 won. It wasn’t a waste, but I wondered, did I really need to go..? There were lots of reviews, but maybe it just didn’t suit me..
Sinsa ㅇㅎㅅ There was no waiting, so I liked being able to consult right away, and the price was okay compared to revision surgery. But here too, while we were talking about buried sutures, ptosis correction suddenly got added..ㅜ then suddenly lower and lateral canthoplasty got added tooㅋㅋ... And when the consultant came in and said it would be this much if I did ptosis correction together, I asked how much it would be without ptosis correction, and they said, “At our clinic, we always do ptosis correction together.” So I was like, huh? Is it right that ptosis correction must be done? Then please at least tell me the price. They called out the amount really reluctantly. No exact explanation for why I needed ptosis correction. I asked by phone later, and they said they recommended it because my eyes looked slightly sleepy. That made me trust them less. I’ve never been told I have sleepy-looking eyes in my life, and almost all of my pupils show. And I have good eye-opening strength.. Honestly, I liked the line the most and had pretty much decided to do it, but there were just a lot of “huh?” moments...
ㄴㅅㅎ I consulted with the representative director, and the consultation was really detailed + kind. If I wanted to set the line high, they recommended an upper canthoplasty.. But this too was my choice, and they recommended buried sutures + fat removal. But fat removal was also my choice..ㅎㅎ So I was a bit unsure. The price was reasonable within my range too, but the line.... the line ㅜㅜㅜ didn’t strongly appeal to me.. so I’m just kind of putting it on hold. And they keptㅋㅋ telling me I didn’t look like I had any intention of getting surgeryㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I’m just indecisive.. I just have a lot to think about.. Maybe that’s why they kept saying it was all my choice.. Ah!! Maybe because they have a lot of experience, they had presence, so I kept holding on and asking everything I’d been curious about, and when I asked about ptosis correction and incision, they said ptosis correction was not needed, and if I did ptosis correction my impression would look fierce, and since the eyebrow-to-eye distance is narrow, ptosis correction would make it even narrower and thicker, so there was no need to do it.. And they said if I did an incision, I’d come back to them crying, so they told me absolutely not to do an incision... Oh, and the consultant did kind of encourage making a reservation.. Like, if you book now it’s this price, and next time they won’t be able to do it at this price?
Now ㄱㅎㅅ is left, but every place says somewhat different things, and I feel like I need to organize my thoughts on my own to some extent. I hope everyone looks carefully into revision eye surgery and succeeds, including me ^^
