After a lot of thought, I decided to get nose surgery, and today is day 5. I had a consultation at ㄱㄹ and booked the surgery for the very next week. I liked that the waiting time from the consultation to the day of surgery wasn't long! From when the anesthesia wore off on the day of surgery until the packing was removed the next day, breathing was much harder than I expected, I felt stuffy, my head felt dazed, and it was really tough. But after the packing was removed the next day, things got a bit better except that my runny nose kept flowing with no resistance. From the second day, I think I made sure to go out at night and walk for about an hour to reduce swelling. Walking helped a lot with reducing the swelling! On the third day, after the packing near my ear was removed and my nasal crusts were cleaned out once, I felt much better. A lot of the swelling has gone down too, so now my cheeks are a little swollen, and I basically look like a squirrel that stole and ate all the acorns. lol I’m getting my splint removed on day 6, and I hope it turned out well. And I really hope I don’t get any inflammation...
