I had an early removal today.
Surgery details Bulbous nose, hump nose (only the area where the silicone would sit), nasal tip (septal cartilage, autologous costal cartilage), nasal bridge (silicone)
It had been less than 20 days, and the foreign-body sensation was so severe. I couldn't manage it well, and because I was anxious that side effects might occur, I had it removed at the place where I had the surgery.
They left the support strut in the nasal tip and removed the rest.
My natural nose was a very low bulbous nose, so the clinic said that because they had shaved down the hump, my nasal bridge would become even lower, and that it would look flat and I would regret it,
but I couldn't sleep or work because of the anxiety, so I went and had it removed.
I'm also worried that the shape might look very strange. Did I do the right thing?
