I have ordinary monolid eyes, and objectively I thought my eyes didn’t need medial/lateral canthoplasty. I do have some fat, but not much around the crease line. For partial incision/non-incision, different surgeons recommended different things, so I was still debating. If you’re similar to me, use this as reference!
1. Apgujeong ㅇㄹㅈ - single-director clinic The consultant was businesslike, and the doctor had a tsundere style. They didn’t recommend anything unnecessary at all, but only talked about local anesthesia. It seems sleep anesthesia costs extra. They said I’d be fine with just a quick non-incisional double eyelid surgery. They didn’t ask me to take off my mask and only looked at my eyes to design the line. The price was 1.2 million won.
2. ㅇㄷㅍ Apgujeong - Director ㄱ Ha.. I had expectations because they come up often on YouTube, but I think I waited 2 hours. The consultant assigned to me was kind and didn’t push anything strange. They said I had a lot of fat, so I needed partial incision, and told me to do upper canthoplasty. They did have me take off my mask and designed the line. The price.. they quoted 2.5 million.. ha. The consultant did say this director’s procedure prices are originally expensive. I decided not to do it here;
3. Gangnam ㅇㄴ - ㄱㅅㅎ Today I was pressured to put down a deposit;; and ended up booking as if I was being rushed. There was almost no waiting time, but the consultant was kind of.. like she was power-struggling? lol They said there was no real need to remove fat from my eyes, but if it stressed me out, I could do it, and recommended non-incision with upper canthoplasty. It was around 1.5 million, so I don’t think this place is cheap either.
