I had a consultation at a place in Sinsa (ㅃ..) The consultant was kind, and the director doctor was scary. He said that on busy days, he even performs surgery three times a day. He said the director doctor’s wife also had it done, so I felt a little reassured, but when I searched for information in cafes and places like that, people kept saying it’s not a surgery that should be done at a plastic surgery clinic and that I should do it at a university hospital. But when I looked at reviews from people who had surgery at university hospitals, there were also many people struggling with side effects. ㅃ.. This place doesn’t have bad reviews, but the problem is that the reviews are only on the hospital’s own website. There isn’t much bad talk in cafes and places like that either, but that also feels somehow unsettling (because there’s so little information). I don’t need anything else; I just hope that even when I get older, there won’t be any health problems, but there’s so little information that I’m torn.. I already scheduled the surgery date, but I also wonder if I rushed into it.. I heard that at university hospitals, before surgery, they mention that blindness can rarely occur (a post I saw in a cafe). But ㅃ.. this place just confidently insists that won’t happen, so I feel extremely frustrated.
If anyone has had protruding-eye surgery (orbital decompression, expansion surgery) and has any advice, please give me some..ㅠ What I’m worried about is blindness, strabismus, diplopia, and whether there are any other chronic discomforts.. Please help..
