I saw on YouTube that they seemed good at removing Mongolian folds, so I went to ㅅㅍㄹㅅ My Mongolian folds are severe and I have sleepy-looking eyes, so I had a consultation for epicanthoplasty and ptosis correction. Even when I showed photos, they seemed indifferent, and it felt like they were just taking a quick look.. ugh They weren’t as kind as I expected and looked tired. Without explaining things like inline, outline, incisional, non-incisional, etc., they just held my eye line and said it would turn out like this, then showed me a mirror.. It was my first time at a plastic surgery clinic, so I couldn’t really get a sense of what “like this” meant. Rather than telling me what my eye structure is like, what kind of eyes would look natural, or what would suit me well, it felt more like, “You have sleepy-looking eyes and Mongolian folds, and we operate on that”?? The consultant was kind, but.. I asked a lot about scarring, and I feel like I only got vague answers like scars may or may not form.. I just became more unsure and went home..
