Surprisingly, the hospital where I originally had the surgery was still operating, so I only had a consultation with them by phone and made a reservation there. The surgery fee was 700,000 won plus 70,000 won VAT lol
I had the surgery in 2006 using only silicone and ear cartilage, and I lived all this time without really feeling anything. Then recently, as you can see in the photos, I could really feel that it had shifted to the left, so I hurriedly made an appointment. Even during the week or so I was waiting for surgery, I was extremely anxious because it felt like my face was becoming asymmetrical in real time. After the surgery, I heard that my friend had not said anything all this time, but had felt that my eyes were starting to look uneven. The surgical method was closed, and only the silicone was removed. I had light sedation with local anesthesia. I went into the operating room and came out in 30 minutes. It hurt on the day of surgery, and I started swelling from the first day. The swelling peaked on day 3 and then went down, and by around day 5 the major swelling and Avatar-like look were gone. The strange-looking skin between my eyebrows went away around one week, and that was when I first met people, but no one knew I had surgery.
My natural nose was small and low, but it was not ugly, and my operated nose was high, very high lol I do not know exactly, but it seems like the doctor put in the maximum amount.. On the day of surgery, during the consultation with the doctor, when I said I was removing it, he said it was pretty and asked why I was removing it. When I said it was crooked, he told me to get revision surgery, but I just asked him to remove it. He tried to persuade me to get Artecoll filler, but I refused, saying I wanted to do nothing and go back to my natural nose lol
The doctor is like that, so I do not recommend him, and please do not ask where it is lol
Anyway, I got a lot of comfort from reading reviews here, so I am leaving my own review in hopes that it helps someone.
