Medpor came through, so I had surgery to remove everything. For 5 years, I had thought the strut inside my nose was donated rib cartilage, but it turned out to be Medpor..; During that time, there had been a smell inside my nose, and I guess that was inflammation plus a warning sign that the implant was about to come through. While I was looking into removal surgery, it ended up coming through, so at the place where I urgently went for a consultation, I had everything removed: Medpor, silicone, and even the ear cartilage that had been layered onto the nasal tip. Originally, I was planning to visit the three major removal places and removal-specialized clinics, PRM, SSY, GYS, SY, and CM, but I only ended up consulting at two places ㅜ I’m a bit disappointed I couldn’t go to all of them. Because I had to have surgery urgently, I ended up having surgery at Chamin, where they explained things smoothly during the consultation and could match my schedule with the earliest surgery date. The timing of the surgery was late, but.. they said the surgery went well. However, according to the director, when they opened my nose, the inflammation inside was in a very severe state. They explained it to me when I went for treatment..ㅜㅜ I had had two nose surgeries, and my nose had also had alar reduction during the first surgery, so I was worried the shape would look strange if everything was removed, but now at one week post-op, the shape looks better than I expected. It is still swollen. I had the stitches removed today, so I’ll leave another review after recovery.
