A review of the third hospital, written while heading to the fourth and last hospital~ I won’t answer comments asking for the priceㅜㅜ If you look at that hospital-finding place, it’ll probably be better~
After ㅋㅂㅈ and ㅋㄴㅍ(ㅂㄷㄴ), I went to ㄴㅈㄹ.
I have severe rhinitis, and at some point the bone in the middle of my nose became visibly crooked, so I’m only going around hospitals that have an ENT specialist.
For the cosmetic side, I don’t want a high, dramatic nose at all and prefer a natural look. It doesn’t suit my face to look dramatic at allㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ
There was traffic, so I called to say I’d be about 10 minutes late, and when I arrived, the doctor had gone into surgery for the next surgical patient, saying he couldn’t make a surgery patient wait. (I’m guessing it was probably 3:30.)
I waited about 1 hour and had the consultation. I liked the mindset that a surgery patient shouldn’t be made to wait.
The consultation with the consultant was long, about 40 minutes, and the consultation with the director was short, around 10 minutes.
This was... because the consultation with the consultant was long before the director’s consultation, it felt like some of my concerns had already been resolved and my head went a bit blank; so the director consultation ended up feeling subtle.
The things I was curious about were answered at the consultant level... I should have thought carefully and asked the director again about those points, but I guess that’s my personality ㅜㅜ Everyone, don’t get swayed; make sure to ask well before you leave.

Other hospitals showed cases similar to mine during the consultation, but there was none of that here, which was disappointing... Maybe because it was right after surgery, he did look a bit tired.
Also, other hospitals roughly told me how many mm of silicone would go in, but here they only answered that they would know after opening it and lifting the nasal tip... They also said they would only know the size of the septal cartilage after opening it. At first I thought, hmm, that makes sense, but after the consultation ended and I thought about it, it felt a bit... disappointing. I even had a CT scan taken. And they didn’t show similar case photos or shape the expected look, so there was nothing concrete about the result. I’m not sure if it was confidence in the surgery itself.
They have strong confidence in closed surgery, and regarding side effects from silicone and such, they answered, “That almost never happens, so you don’t need to worry. Even if inflammation occurs, there are treatment protocols for everything, so you don’t need to worry.” That seemed to be their stance on inflammation. They also said that because closed surgery has less bleeding, that is related to their confidence regarding inflammation.
Conclusion: osteotomy would be done, the nasal tip would use septal cartilage, and if there isn’t enough septal cartilage, whether donor costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage (both under sedation anesthesia) would be used can only be known after opening it. How many mm of silicone would go into the bridge can be determined during surgery after lifting the nasal tip.
My nose is not difficult to operate on, and a natural look suits my image. Alar lift and nostril reduction are unnecessary.
For AS, only when an objective problem occurs. Anesthesia fee is charged (even for problems such as inflammation or silicone deviation).
Open surgery involves making an incision in the columella area, so there is a lot of bleeding (and because of this, swelling is also greater), but closed surgery is not like that.
That’s about it... I didn’t get much from the director consultation. Rather than a consultation tailored to my face, it felt kind of floating. Of course, it’s also my fault for not asking smart questions.
Consultation with the consultant
There’s more to write here. First, there was something that bothered me the most.
When I asked whether CCTV could be disclosed, they said I could watch it if I paid 1 million won. When I was researching online, I liked this place the most, but this part really cooled my feelings a lot.
Questions about autologous costal cartilage/donor costal cartilage Hospital staff do not avoid donor costal cartilage. They said hospital staff members also had surgery with donor costal cartilage, but online communities and such seem to have especially bad reviews about it.
Same for silicone.
AS is when a problem occurs. Anesthesia fee of 500,000 won occurs.
Alar lift is almost unnecessary and is not a surgery they recommend either. (I said a hospital I had previously visited recommended this.) The balance should be adjusted by bringing out the columella, but because it is difficult to bring out the columella, they lift the alar rim.
Aftercare includes swelling laser, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy if autologous costal cartilage is used.
I had Miseko 5 years ago, and there was a removal fee for that. It was quite large ㄷㄷ... With that cost, if you get an event discount, you could do front and back canthoplasty.
The price was the most expensive among the places I visited. What on earth did I go and ask at the consultation? Ugh, idiot.
In my case, I was worried because the opinions differed from hospitals 1 and 2, but by going to the third hospital, I decided to completely rule out the first hospital. That’s about the gain.
