After the surgery, the flesh on one eye where I had posterior canthoplasty opened up, exposing the mucous membrane as if it were bleeding, so I had revision surgery. Even then, the mucous membrane was still exposed, and the manager in charge had left the clinic. The skin healed in that state, forming a ㄷ shape, and the mucous membrane remained exposed. After they merged and relocated to YJ in the PGD building near Gangnam Station, I had medial epicanthoplasty restoration surgery because the medial epicanthoplasty I had previously received from Director Park had been done incorrectly. After the surgery, the depressed scar became severe, so I told the clinic. They told me to visit the main branch, and after looking at my condition, they said the surgery had gone well and that it was not a problem at that level. They kept neglecting it without any care, and after I appealed with long, desperate posts on several apps, someone who said they were the clinic’s department head said they would resolve the issue. I visited the clinic several times and had consultations with multiple specialists, but all I heard was that the surgery seemed to have gone well without problems and that I should not have surgery. They just kept dragging things out, and then I was notified that that person had also left the clinic, and my case was handed over to another department head. When you have eye surgery, you usually have to close and open your eyes, so normally they only use sedation during very local anesthesia, briefly put you to sleep, wake you up, and operate while you are conscious. But I had surgery under sedation where the surgery was already over when I woke up. All 3 times, I had it that way from the same director. Even during my very first surgery at GRS before the merger, while I was lying on the operating table, I woke up from sedation and heard footsteps of someone entering the operating room, and then someone else who had been sitting behind me took both hands off my forehead. I was awake from anesthesia, and the person who came in said, “I’ll have you open your eyes.” It was the specialist in charge. They handed me a mirror and told me to take a look, but the surgery was already almost finished, and when I suddenly felt so much pain, they sedated me again. On the clinic website, it said short-term sedation or very local anesthesia, so when I asked, they said sedation surgery was Director Park’s personal style to reduce patient discomfort. I had surgery that way 3 times. There were many things that felt strange, so I asked the clinic to show me the CCTV. They said they only film if the clinic receives a filming request before surgery, and that they delete it the next day. They also said some operating rooms have CCTV and some do not.. So they said they can only show it if filming was requested, and if it was not requested, they cannot show it ㅜㅜ I still have all the text messages. A clinic staff member said they would periodically keep records of my eye condition and took photos with their own phone, but when the photos were taken in the consultation room, the scar did not show. I don’t know whether they used an app, but it has been more than 2 years since I had medial epicanthoplasty restoration at the main branch, and the scar is extremely severe. They just keep telling me to wait, and the clinic says medial epicanthoplasty restoration is originally a surgery that always leaves scars. They say the laser is for chest scars, so there is nothing they can do. The posterior canthoplasty area also has one side opened up, with the mucous membrane visible as if it is bleeding, a ㄷ-shaped adhesion, and mucous membrane exposure. It is really severe. Please be careful of OLS.. I thought this kind of thing happened to other people, but after experiencing it myself, I realized it is not someone else’s problem. I honestly think a place with a single director might be safer. I also hope there will not be more victims like me. When you have surgery, make sure to request CCTV no matter what, and after surgery, be sure to ask for it. YJ is a large hospital, so they act like there is nothing you can do, and even if something goes wrong, there is no way to deal with it. They do so much broker advertising that many people must be visiting, but realistically, when you think about how they can operate on that many patients in one day while the directors also do consultations, please be careful of OLS. They are not only looking at you ㅜㅜ
