I'm sharing the notes I wrote down whenever I had time about my surgical progress.
<Week 4 review>
As it is almost one month now, I feel like both the nose shape and the mucous membrane have stabilized a lot. I still need to be careful until 3 to 6 months, but the pulling sensation when I smile has lessened and a lot of the swelling has gone down. There is still swelling at the nasal tip, so a slight step-off is visible, but since I know the nasal tip gradually lowers over time, I'm going to take my time and wait slowly haha. Still, compared with before, both the shape and my emotional state are much better, so I'm spending each day feeling satisfied. I hope it looks even better when I go for my 2-month follow-up!
<Week 5 review> I also had the stitches inside my nose removed, and as time passes, the step-off between the nasal tip and the bridge is becoming more and more natural, so it looks pretty haha. Now it just feels like my own nose without any awkwardness, so I really like it! Even under bright lighting, that distinctive silicone show-through doesn't happen, and when other people take photos of me, I can no longer see my nose looking pinched or crooked because of silicone visibility~ As time goes on, it will become even more natural, but honestly I already like it so much now that I even hope the swelling doesn't go down any further haha. I'm living well every day with gratitude to Dr. Kim Se-young!!
<Implant-free Month 2>
A month has already passed and it's becoming two months,, Before surgery, I was so worried I couldn't even sleep well, but these days I'm spending each day comfortably and at ease! When I went for my two-month follow-up this time, the doctor said, "You must feel relieved~ You'll hear people say it's pretty~" and when he said that, I felt relieved and even happy haha. I honestly don't know how many times I've heard that it looks better after removing the silicone during that time!! As time passes, the nose will gradually change and lower little by little, but I hope I continue to like it haha. Thank you for operating in a way that suits my face.
