I went in the middle of summer. Honestly, since rhinoplasty is something I’ve been thinking about for years, if they had only said the same old things about the surgical method, ear cartilage, silicone, and so on, I wouldn’t be writing this. I have a small nose with a hump. But the moment they looked at my face, they explained it by pulling my nose with a cotton swab? in exactly the way I usually look at my face and think, “Ah, I wish it could just look like this.” And honestly, I’ve gone to a lot of consultations, so when most places said we should do osteotomy, I just thought, “I guess that’s how it is.” But this was the first place to recommend paranasal augmentation because my midface is sunken, so I was taken aback. But after hearing it, that also made sense. Their aesthetic sense is similar to mine, so honestly I’m drawn to them.. But I’m hesitating a bit because of that paranasal augmentation. It’s a surgery I’d never thought about before. Also, out of all the hospitals I’ve consulted with so far, this was the most expensiveㅋㅋ It was like other hospitals’ revision surgery price.. Still, they didn’t really pressure me to pay a deposit, and when I told the consultant honestly that because of the paranasal augmentation I wasn’t comfortable booking right away and needed to think about it, they told me to think carefully and come back.
So for now I’m planning to go to the dentist and ask if I have a protruding mouth..! I think an accurate analysis of your own face should come first.
