25 years ago, I had a nasal bridge procedure and surgery for a bulbous nose (alar reduction), but not long after, the shape of my nose changed strangely. Back then, I didn’t dare even think about revision surgery, so I kept giving up and living with it. Then I tried getting filler once, and it looked a little less strange, so I lived maintaining that. But recently, while on an urgent business trip outside the city, I got filler there, and it made my nasal bridge look crooked and made my bulbous nose stand out even more. The money was one thing, but I couldn’t even hold my face up. With filler, the shape keeps changing, so I got stressed every time. It was nose surgery I never wanted to do again, but I gathered my courage.
Honestly, when I came to the clinic, I always felt the reception desk was crowded, and during the process of checking in and waiting, I didn’t really feel that they were especially kind. But the nursing team and the staff on the lower floor treated me kindly. Especially during the consultation with my doctor, I felt kindness and sincerity, and I felt a sense of comfort and trust different from male doctors, so I decided to trust this doctor and go ahead with the surgery. After surgery, my nose was blocked, so I had to breathe through my mouth, sleep sitting up, and stayed awake all night. Even after two days, I still had runny discharge and blood from my nose, so even drinking water was difficult.
And the incision wound from the ear cartilage kept hurting, but I have high hopes for the line I can see under the splint. I hope I end up with a smooth-looking nose.
