Revision eye surgery + epicanthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty review!!

A super long review of revision eye surgery + epicanthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty!!

My eyes were uneven, and the double eyelids I had done before were gradually drooping and felt like they were covering my pupils, so I went for a consultation and decided on revision surgery!! I was tired of covering up my small, narrow eyes with eye makeup, and I could see there was a limit, so since this hospital is really famous for lateral canthoplasty, I just went for epicanthoplasty together with it here.

First of all, honestly, from the moment I went for the consultation... I almost canceled my consultation appointment and left haha... because the wait was so long... hahaha There were really that many people, you know? I had consultations at other hospitals too, but none had this many people. I figured there must be a reason places with lots of people are busy, so I waited until the end....... After waiting, I met the consultant in charge and had the consultation, and she treated me so kindly that the wait before that felt like nothing. (I even remembered her name.. Deputy Manager Jung Hee-jin!!) They told me to meet the directors before leaving, so it was another endless wait... (popular hospitals are tough..) but I think it was good that I met them before leaving lol. I met two directors, and from the moment they walked in, I felt this aura like they were the people who would become my second mother and father...

One was a female director, and she looked at my revision surgery and epicanthoplasty. I liked that she carefully explained the overall surgical direction and my eyes!! haha Director Song, who specializes in lateral canthoplasty, is already so famous that I knew about him roughly, but seriously, his first impression felt like a hidden master, and as expected, he explained things well. I just kept going yes yes yes yes yes, and the consultation ended like that lololol That day, I paid the deposit right away and booked the earliest surgery date lol. I forgot all about the endless waiting, right..?

On the long-awaited surgery day, I arrived really nervous, and Deputy Manager Jung Hee-jin explained in detail all kinds of things, like precautions before surgery, various things to be careful about, and post-op care. Before surgery, I heard the overall design and explanation once more from the female director and then went into surgery. Director Song too, and honestly throughout the whole surgery they were so meticulous and kind that I was touchedㅠㅜㅠ The nurse? teacher assisting beside me also helped me relax, comforted me saying the line came out prettily, and I almost cried... I had the surgery in a good mood and came back well. First of all, when I opened my eyes after surgery, I already felt like I could see clearly in front of me, and I was happy because I could see the line was well set!

Days 1-3, as expected, the swelling is no jokeㅠㅠ The pain was tolerable because I took the painkillers they gave me properly. But my eyes kept tearing so much that it was uncomfortableㅠㅜ And because of conjunctival edema, I kept feeling like tears were welling up..? so it feels unpleasantㅠㅠㅠ Time, please passㅠㅠ Overall, I already like the line, so I’m just hoping time passes quickly... I’ll post another review later after some time passes!!
