It's been 1 year since the surgery. I chose it because there was no elbow incision. I get hot easily, so I didn't think I could confidently cover it up in the summer. I'm 163 cm and around the hospital's recommended weight, but I had a lot of body fat. It was partly for cosmetic reasons, and also because the fat on my arms would get pinched, making it really uncomfortable that I couldn't stand straight at attention with my arms in a straight line lololol. I got the surgery for a combination of reasons. They said my fat was on the tougher side, so they removed less than expected, but I'm satisfied. First of all, they provide unlimited scar laser treatment, but the scars don't disappear completely. They just get lighter. And maybe because I wasn't overweight or obese, if I pinch the inside of my arms, there are slight cannula marks, but they only show when I pinch. Other than that, my body feels more comfortable and lighter, and I have more freedom choosing clothes, so I'm satisfied.
