10 years ago, I had double buried sutures + epicanthoplasty (my right eye was operated on twice, but it is currently undone)
Consultation date: Friday, June 30 Consultation area: double eyelid revision surgery Consultation order: consultant → director → consultant
Recommended surgical method: incision ▶ Since my right eye is sunken compared with the left eye, there is a possibility it could come undone even with an incision, so they did not recommend natural adhesion haha I said that, whether it’s natural adhesion or incision, I hope I won’t need another re-revision in the future!
Recommended line: in-out + semi-out at the front ▶ They said the front of my right eye is lifted, so if the height is lowered like the left side, the overall line could get covered, and it would be better to combine the two lines. It wasn’t just simply choosing one line; I really liked that they set the line according to my current condition, and it looked more professional!
Consultation review: 1. Very short waiting time! I visited 10-15 minutes earlier than my reservation time, and about 5 minutes later I filled out the chart and took photos. After a brief consultation with the consultant, I met the director, and it only took about 15 minutes, so it wasn’t boringㅋㅋㅋ
2. Director consultation: took about 20 minutes First, they explained in detail the reasons for the surgical method and line they recommended, so it was super easy to understand + accept. At first, they made 3 lines and asked me to say which number line I liked, and even within the line I chose, they made 2 more versions with slightly different heights, so I could see various impressions. They showed me about 5 main options, and even while consulting, they drew the line a few more times and explained, so I really got to see which line didn’t suit me and which line fit perfectly. And the biggest advantage is definitely that there were no add-ons pushed like bundled sales! They asked if there were any canthoplasty procedures or ptosis correction I wanted, and when I said I didn’t really have any greed for that, they said my eye-opening muscle is good and there’s no separate area that needs to be opened more, so there’s no need to do it. That really made me trust them more...
3. Consultant consultation Before seeing the director, I only had a brief consultation about previous surgery history, preferred line, and surgical method, and after the director consultation, there was another 10-minute consultation with a briefing on the director’s consultation + cost + other questions. There was absolutely no separate mention of a deposit; they just checked whether I had a planned schedule, and later they briefly wrote up the consultation details and left them on KakaoTalk, so I liked that important things were recorded!
Consultation review: Overall, the hospital is small in scale, but the director didn’t rush during the consultation or show any annoyance at questions at all. I think the first consultation was successful, so I’m satisfied satisfied, but if there’s one thing that’s a little disappointing, it’s that they use local anesthesia + a small amount of sedation, and since the director does it directly and it’s not general anesthesia, there isn’t an anesthesiology specialist on site...?ㅜㅜ Even though they said they only use a very small amount because they have to wake me up in the middle, since they said the operating surgeon does it directly, it bothered me a little!
