Before<Before>Before<Before>After<After>After<After>After<After>For my revision rhinoplasty, I had autologous costal cartilage used for the nasal tip and donated dermis (AlloDerm) for the nasal bridge. It has now been 2 months since surgery. My nasal bridge was originally very low, so I think they raised the bridge quite a bit.. When the splint was removed at 1 week, it looked so high that I was worried, but the director said it had been slightly overcorrected and would become natural over time. I was half in doubt about it, but.. as time has passed, it really is becoming more and more natural!! Whew.. the height looks much more natural now~~
After I developed contraction once and my nose was damaged, I absolutely couldn’t use silicone, and while looking into options I learned about a material called AlloDerm. When I first heard of it, it felt unfamiliar and strange, so I searched a lot. But more people than I expected had surgery for contracted nose using donated dermis, so haha..ha I felt relieved. Materials like dermis definitely seem to have a lower chance of inflammation and contraction~~ If there’s a downside, maybe that it gets absorbed..? But after actually having surgery, the absorption just seems to make it look a bit more natural, so I’m very satisfied hehe. These days, people around me keep complimenting me, saying my nose turned out so well hahaha Before surgery, my nose was in such bad condition that I didn’t get greedy and tried to let go of expectations as much as possible, but ㅜㅜ as time passes, my nose is getting prettier, so I’m really.. so happy. Before, I thought I’d have no other wish if only my upturned nasal tip came down.. ㅠㅠ So far, I think it turned out really well, so I’m satisfied! I’ll watch it until 6 months and leave an overall review :)
