I have absolutely no intention of promoting any particular clinic, and since I live outside Seoul, I searched apps a lot, chose one of two clinics, had surgery, and now it has been a month! The swelling has gone down a lot now, but I’m waiting for it to go down even faster and look more natural.
1. ㅇㅇㅇ Plastic Surgery There were so many people. I arrived 10 minutes before my consultation, but they told me to come exactly on time, so I wandered around outside for 30 minutes, went in right on time, and then the waiting time alone was 30 minutes. That was just the wait to see the consultant. I was really annoyed, and the consultant assigned to me was really bad at communicating. I said it was stressful that I open my eyes using forehead strength, and she told me to get Botox in my forehead.. After meeting the consultant, I waited another 20 minutes and then met the director. The consultation room even had a separate door for the doctor to enter. Why bother..? I wondered why they made two doors. I told him my first surgery had been done with an incision, but even though it was a revision surgery, he just suggested doing it non-incision. When I asked, “Then couldn’t it possibly come undone?” he answered, “It could, I suppose,” and I couldn’t believe my ears.. (There were also a lot of moms who had brought students who had just graduated high school, and I even heard them openly saying in front of the counter that the staff were unfriendly.)
2. ㄷㄹㅅ When I arrived at my reserved time, I had a consultation with the consultant within 10 minutes. Neither the director nor the consultant felt excessively friendly, but they said exactly what was needed, explained things to help me understand, and clearly pointed out improvement points for the parts that were stressing me out. However, I was a bit taken aback when the price gradually went down from the first amount they quoted, saying they would take off 700,000 won if I paid the reservation deposit that day.
I chose the second clinic, and I’m satisfied with no regrets! The short consultation time, and how quickly they caught what I wanted, The scar is worse than when I had my first double eyelid surgery, so I’m waiting for time to pass.
* When doing the double eyelid surgery, they put green lenses in my eyes, so when they told me to open and close my eyes during the procedure, I couldn’t see anything in my field of vision and could only see the color, so it wasn’t scary, which was really nice.. Maybe it was because I had it done at a provincial clinic 10 years ago, but back then they didn’t have anything like that..
* The surgery took about 40 minutes total, and it ended much faster than I expected, so I remember saying, “Huh? It’s over?” and then trotting home lol
* I don’t know if it was only my assigned consultant, but when I called on the first day after surgery or to change the surgery date, she never picked up when I called the number on her business card, so it was inconvenient having to ask separately through the clinic and leave a memo ㅜ
