Review after shopping around for posterior/lower canthoplasty restoration and reconstruction :)

You can see photos of my eye condition in the post I wrote~!

First of all, the biggest reason I want restoration/reconstruction is because the ㄷ-shape is severe, and during consultations, I mainly said I wanted the ㄷ-shape to be made pointed! All the places I visited had only one director!

1. ㅌㅋ (consultation fee X, photo taking O, sedation anesthesia) Consultation order: consultant-director-consultant. I went right at opening time, so I had the consultation without much waiting. As soon as I got there, they took photos and I waited. Everyone was kind, and the director gave a very detailed consultation. I had the director’s consultation for about 20 minutes. They consulted while putting my photos up on the screen, and at that moment I kind of got hit with reality... My eyes had already been opened up so much that reconstruction would be difficult, and only restoration was possibleㅜㅜ There is no separate aftercare, and stitches are removed after 10 days. They said that, looking at my eye condition, there is a slight possibility of recurrence.

2. ㅅㅅ (consultation fee X, photo taking X, local anesthesia after sedation) Consultation order: consultant-director-consultant. There was about a 1-hour wait. Everyone was kind, and from the director’s way of speaking, I felt a kind of composure? like they had done posterior/lower restoration surgery all the time. While waiting, I looked at the surgery review booklet on the table, and the eye shape was the most similar to what I wanted, so I was already tempted even before the consultation.... The director’s consultation lasted about 5 minutes, and they said posterior restoration and even lower canthoplasty would be possible. Stitches are removed after 10 days, and they said they provide aftercare within 1 year. It was the most expensive.......

3.ㅊㅇ (consultation fee X, photo taking O, sedation + local anesthesia) Consultation order: consultant-director-consultant. There was about a 1-hour wait. Everyone was kind, and I had the director’s consultation for about 8 minutes. The director was kind and made me feel comfortable. For photo taking, the consultant took them with a tablet during the consultant consultation. They said restoration is possible, and for lower canthoplasty, we should first do the restoration, see whether it is needed, and then proceed. Stitch removal twice, after 7 days and after 10 days. They provide aftercare within 1 year.

4. ㅇㅅㅌ (consultation fee: 10,000 won, photo taking X, sedation anesthesia) Consultation order: consultant-director-consultant. Waiting time was about 10 minutes. The director’s consultation was about 12 minutes. Everyone was kind, and the director seemed a bit angry haha They were cheerful and honest. They dissed the director of the hospital that made my eyes like this haha They said we can do the restoration and decide on lower canthoplasty after seeing the result after restoration. Stitches are removed on day 7, and they said they use dissolvable sutures for the inner stitches. For aftercare, this was the last hospital, so I was exhausted and drained and came out without askingㅜㅜ

For surgery fees, if it is only the restoration cost, the order from most expensive is ㅊㅇ-ㅇㅅㅌ-ㅅㅅ-ㅌㅋ, and if ㅅㅅ includes lower canthoplasty too, it is the most expensive.

End of shopping-around review!
