I had surgery because they said it was the biggest plastic surgery clinic in Ulsan, one that anyone living in Ulsan would know, but I really shouldn’t have gone. Honestly, it already felt off from the consultation process.
The consultation was done by the consultation manager, and I couldn’t even see the director’s face until the day of surgery. On the day of surgery, after changing clothes, I briefly saw him right before going into the operating room for sedation anesthesiaㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
He only glanced briefly, then without discussing anything with me at all, he roughly drew a design on my face with a pen and didn’t say a word. Then he asked, “Your nose is crooked, should we correct that too?” There had been absolutely no mention of that during the consultation, and he said it 5 minutes before I went into the operating room, so I was flustered and said, “Huh? No...”
Then I just lay down, fell asleep, and the surgery was over. From the moment the splint was removed, I thought it was ruined: the nasal tip had dropped, the nostrils were uneven, the silicone implant was crooked, and above all, if they were doing hump osteotomy, I would normally think it would be done with an open approach, but it was strange that they did it closed. My biggest concern was a bulbous nose, but my nose is still bulky.
I had it done in high school during winter break in February, and when I went back to school a month later, the kids said, “Hey, didn’t you say you were getting nose surgery? Why haven’t you done it yet?” That says it all,,,ㅋㅋㅋ Nothing was corrected or improved. Thinking about it now, I wonder if it was a salaried doctor or a ghost doctorㅎㅎ
I was so angry, but there was no aftercare, and they just recommended a nose contour injection. When I asked if that even works, they said it might work or it might not, and that a lot of nasal fat might disappear, but if that happened, I could just get fat grafting again. They said something that made no sense.
When I asked if I could see the director, they said I couldn’t, and completely blocked me from seeing him. I asked them to show me my before-and-after surgery photos, and it didn’t look edited because it still looked exactly the sameㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ So I said, “It’s the same,” and they said, “No? To my eyes it looks completely different...” Hearing that almost made me grab her by the hair, but what did that manager do wrong? The hospital is being run strangely, and the skill issue is the doctor’s fault..
Since they wouldn’t let me see the doctor, I just spammed the consultation page on their website, and then they contacted me againㅋㅋㅋㅋ telling me to come in for a consultation. But when I went, they still didn’t do anything, there was no refund, and I still couldn’t see the doctor. Why on earth did they call me in;;
