1st surgery: around September 2021 2nd surgery: around May 2022
How I found the hospital: It’s a hospital I went to after finding a college entrance exam event ad when I was in high school They said my face was pretty, so I probably didn’t need to be greedy about my nose, and recommended closed rhinoplasty. (1.4 million won) My friends around me were basically paying 3-4 million won, but back then, being young, I was tempted by the low price, put down a deposit, and a few years passed. After that, I only got fillers, but because fillers hurt so much, I remembered the deposit I had paid and just booked the surgery. The director assigned to me during consultation had left, so I was replaced with Director Kim Ji-soo. They said only Director Kim Ji-soo could do closed surgery, so I had no other option.
After the first surgery, my nose was crooked and the silicone implant moved, so I had revision surgery. What’s certain is that from the day the splint was removed, the crookedness was clearly noticeable. So not long after, I told the consultant I thought it was crooked, and she told me to wait until the swelling went down. Then maybe a month or two? later, during the director’s follow-up check, the director used force with his hand right there on the crooked silicone implant, like bam!, to move it to the center. But it seriously hurt so damn much..... for real, I wanted to curse.... But I wondered, is it right to correct an already crooked silicone implant by hand like this...? (I don’t really know) And he said some nonsense that if it goes well, the periosteum might form and fix it in place... Sure enough, from that day on, the silicone implant started moving lol. Then some time later, I went for another follow-up check and was told I needed revision surgery. And they say AS is free within 1 year, but in reality it isn’t free.. I paid 300,000 won for anesthesia and 200,000 won for silicone replacement lol During the first surgery consultation, they said my nasal bones were on the wider side and asked if I didn’t want to narrow them a bit, but I refused, you know? But after the first surgery, when I looked, I thought it really would be pretty if the bones were narrowed a bit, so I asked them to do that for the second surgery, and suddenly they said they couldn’t. Also, after the first surgery, the bridge of my nose was especially high in a way that didn’t suit my face. I’m sure we agreed on 4 mm, but when I checked, 6.5 mm had been inserted... lol. So this time I asked for 4 mm, but recently I went to another hospital and had a CT scan, and 5.5 mm was in there. What was really shocking was that an L-shaped silicone implant had been inserted... People who know will know, but L-shaped silicone implants were used almost 10 years ago? To exaggerate, they were used for nose surgeries back in my mom’s generation, and that was what was inside me.... They told me they would use regular silicone and build up the nasal tip with ear cartilage...? I’m honestly wondering if there’s no way to sue over this... If anyone knows about this kind of thing, I’d appreciate a comment... Also, while going around consulting at other hospitals, I have a follow-up check with the director at Wonjin this Saturday, but they said Director Kim Ji-soo has left and another doctor will see me lol Director Lee Hyuk-jae, maybe..? But my friend recently had revision surgery with that director too, and hers was botched as well. I really can’t entrust myself to them... There are also many suspicions about proxy surgery at Wonjin, so should I ask them to show me the CCTV? ㅠㅠㅠ Please give me advice...
