As you can see in the before-before photo, a lot of my gums showed, and when I relaxed my lips, my mouth wouldn’t close very well, but after the correction, I am super. satisfied.
Since this was orthodontic retreatment for me, at first they took X-rays, checked my tooth roots, and the director carefully explained how far it could realistically be done, which was really nice. As for the result, the director said that if they raised it any more, I would actually look older, so they left it so my lips only open slightly and adjusted it as much as possible.
I wanted orthodontic treatment that wouldn’t be too noticeable, so I mainly looked for lingual braces, and apparently this doctor is someone who is good at lingual braces in Korea. I had lingual braces on top and outside braces on the bottom, and over the 2 years, it was so unnoticeable that some people said they didn’t even know I had braces!!
Honestly, it hurt during the process and I was scared too, but after doing it, my whole impression looks different hehe. Good!
